Jennifer Maraia was raised in the beauty industry, with deep roots in her family’s salon and barbershop, serving the community in Frankfurt, Germany, for over 80 years.
From an early age, she gained firsthand experiences in artistry, professionalism, and salon ownership. Surrounded by talented hair artists from across Europe and the Middle East, Jennifer developed a deep appreciation for excellence, teamwork, and creating meaningful client experiences.
“Our salon was truly a family,” Jennifer recalls, We even cooked lunch together most afternoons. That sense of connection and support shaped my vision for the ideal salon culture.”
Jennifer attended University in the United States at Boston’s Emerson College, graduating Dean’s List with a degree in Film and Television Production before embarking on a successful 12-year career in Hollywood. There, she founded and operated a thriving literary management company, helping her award winning clients develop screenplays and television projects alongside other Oscar and Golden Globe winning writers, directors and actors.
As her Hollywood career evolved, Jennifer chose to focus on starting a family and ultimately sought a profession that would allow her to stay closer to home while continuing to work with high-level clientele. This transition led to a successful 20-year career in residential and multifamily real estate, where she specialized in matching clients with exceptional homes and investment properties.
In 2021, Jennifer and her husband relocated to Florida in search of a new chapter. The move ultimately brought her full circle—back to her roots in the beauty industry. Drawing on decades of experience in business, client relations, and luxury service, she envisioned an upscale salon built on exceptional customer care, advanced technical expertise, and a sophisticated, relaxing atmosphere.
Inspired by her family’s European style salon culture, Jennifer brings that same warmth and dedication to CHIC Hair Studio Boca Raton, creating a luxurious yet welcoming environment where clients and team members alike feel valued and inspired
