What Is a LASIO Keratin?

We use the Lasio “One Day” formula, which eliminates up to 90 percent of curls and 100 percent of frizz. Lasio Keratin is a water-based keratin treatment that penetrates the hair deep into the cortex, creating healthy hair from the inside out. Many other lower quality keratins offered in the industry are silicone based and coat the cuticle, rather than penetrating into the hair shaft.

Lasio is a low-formaldehyde (0.02% as compared to 0.2% in traditional keratin treatments) All of these factors contribute to our treatments being low fume, luxurious smelling, zero processing time, and offering same day washing. The Beverly Hills Keratin was named after one of our stylists who used this amazing professional anti-frizz formula for many years in her salon in Beverly Hills. No waiting time to shampoo your hair, exercise, etc. All over Color or lightening services should be performed 10-14 days before or after Hair Botox, but preferably after. There are several formulas on the market claiming to be “formaldehyde free.” Technically, this may be true, however, even the “formaldehyde free” formulations are likely to contain other “aldehydes”, urea, or similar mixes which share the potent characteristics of formaldehyde. Often, these compounds convert into a form of unrefined formaldehyde when heated and can create potentially harmful fumes that are noxious and irritating during the curing process. For this reason, your service will include the use of a Fume Vac which is designed to reduce fumes by approximately 85%.

You are required to wear protective eyeglasses, and a mask during the process.
